Joseph D. Fairbank grew up on a ranch in Southwestern Montana, graduating as valedictorian of his class at Beaverhead County High School. He received a Bachelor's in English from Brigham Young University after two years of service as a missionary for the LDS church in Auckland, New Zealand. He received his law degree from the prestigious University of Virginia School of Law in 2014 following two summers working in Boise, Idaho as clerk to Judge Winmill of the U.S. District Court and as an intern with the U.S. Attorney's Office. Joseph began work for Max A. Hansen & Associates, P.C. immediately upon completing the Montana bar exam.
